XL HEADLINERS

In the early part of 1998, Corinthian released a set of Limited Edition XL Headliner figures, with these figure differing from the regular Corinthian's, in that they are taller at 15cm and are made of resin, unlike the other figures which are made of plastic.

The range was a mix of club and national kit figures, with Teddy Sheringham, Les Ferdinand, David Seaman, Alan Shearer and David Beckham being in England national kit.

 

 

Manchester United were represented by David Beckham, Ryan Giggs and Peter Schmeichel, while Robbie Fowler was done for Liverpool and Gianfranco Zola for Chelsea completed the set.

The figures came with a wooden plinth and an individually numbered certificate of authenticity, with each figure being made in quantities of 10,000 except for Les Ferdinand, who's production volume was limited to just 5,000
