October 1997 saw Corinthian release a set of 11 South Africa Springboks Rugby players, with the figures being part of the Headliners range.

As with the New Zealand All Blacks figures these were seldom seen in stores in the UK, some stores did hold stock but it was on a limited basis.

 

 

I did not personally attend the inaugural Corinthian Convention however i am told that there were extremely limited numbers of these blister packs on sale at the event.

Getting a full set of 11 can prove quite a task, and getting them all on blister would be something to be commended, there cannot be many collector's who have a full set of blisters.

All were done as single blister packs coming with collector card and information leaflet.
