PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN

Corinthian released 8 figures for Paris Saint-Germain as part of the Super Champions range, which was double that of any other team in the range.

This was a split release of 4 new figures and 4 repaints, the 4 re paints had all previously been released in the France national kit, which are Alain Roche, Vincent Guerin, Patrice Loko and Bruno N'Gotty. Daniel Kenedy and Benoit Cauet got their first and only Corinthian release, while 2 Brazilian legends made their Corinthian debut's, Leonardo and Rai. There would be future releases of Leonardo in the ProStars range, however this is the only Corinthian figure of Rai.

All 8 were released as single blister packs with collector cards and came with collector's information file. There was also a 4 figure pack released which contained Leonardo, Daniel Kenedy, Rai and Benoit Cauet. A small note to mention, the collector card of Benoit Cauet has a printing error, his collector number should be FRA045 however on the card it is printed as F045.

3 other PSG figures were planned but sadly cancelled, those 3 being a re paint of Florian Maurice which would have featured in a second wave of Super Champions had it not been cancelled, the same can be said for the other 2 which are Paul Le Guen and Dely Valdes. I have never seen the painted Master Model of Dely Valdes, only the unapinted Master Model.
