ENGLAND CRICKET

June 1997 saw Corinthian release a set of 12 England Cricketer's, with the figures being part of the Headliners range.

I recall the figures being heavily displayed in WoolWorths, however my recollection is that they did not prove too popular with collector's, despite this there are some excellent sculpts in the range and some interesting body poses.

The ENG collector codes go from ENG001-ENG019 however only 12 were released, so there must have been another 7 sculpts made but never released! I have never seen any of those unreleased master models, it ispossible they were only assigned a code and never got as far as the sculpting stage.

A great set of figures with a superb blister pack design, all were done as single blister packs coming with collector's leaflet, however no collector cards were made but there was also a 12 figure team pack released.
